while listening to Arlo Guthrie today I remembered this little day trip from last year, I seriously LOVE summer.
Double exposed images are just beautiful and have always been a favourite of mine, I love the strange dreamy outcome. I took some earlier in the year I should dig them out.
The winner for my giveaway was number (thanks to random generator) 14. Congratulations Angie Bailey, drop me an email and I will send you your freedom bracelet. Thank you to everyone who joined in, it was fun might have to do another sometime soon.
I have finally started adding a few bits & bobs to my Etsy. I have many more accessories and pieces to add (hope to find time this weekend) including some ooak items.
I have a trip to the beach planned this weekend and getting a dye pot going so watch this space! Happy weekend.
You can get an extra chance/s by tweeting or facebooking about the giveaway or both just come back and leave comments saying you have. Good luck and I will draw the winner later in the month.
Thanks to a bank holiday; this weekend is a long one. It makes the perfect excuse to get my sewing machine out (not that I ever need an excuse), and this is what I made; inspired by the Freepeople chambray bandana top.
It's super easy to make! Start by pinning the scarf to the front panel of an old shirt. Line up the scarf hem to the buttons. Next cut the scarf under the arm seam and down side seam, I left a few centimetres excess here. Tack loosely to keep in in place while sewing then get your machine out and stitch the scarf to the front panel. Remove tacking thread and trim of excess scarf, and your done! If you make one id love to see it, email me a picture.
